Scheherazade Jewelers will host a two-day event with award-winning jewelry designer Michael Bondanza on Thursday, October 19 and Friday October 20, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (both days).
Architect of Design
Michael Bondanza is a visionary with an established style of timeless designs. Michael’s contemporary jewelry concepts cover many facets of fine jewelry. Sculpted precious metals become everlasting designs, many defined by gemstones all with a unique attention to detail.
Notable designers, be it architecture or jewelry, have an identifiable style. Michael Bondanza’s Signature Collection embodies the self-taught jewelry designer’s creative and technical skills. Each Signature Collection may take a month or more to create. Artfully combining gold and platinum, and added attention to detail, relies on Michael Bondanza’s in-depth metallurgical knowledge and traditional hand engraving techniques. Making signature bracelet a one-of-a-kind work of timeless wearable art.
Timeless Treasure You Deserve
Under the designer’s Boutique jewelry banner are a number of collections that appeal to varied tastes and budgets. Perhaps among the most recognizable are the designer’s Coins jewelry. Michael specializes in ancient Greek and Roman and more unique U.S. coins. Each piece of Coin jewelry is created around the coin itself. And, each comes with documentation authenticating the coin’s historical relevance.
Touchstone and Heights are additional Boutique jewelry collections. Touchstone pieces are truly unique with gemstones containing distinctive internal features. Many of the chains for Touchstone necklaces are handmade, some set with gemstones. Michael not only calls New York home, where all of his jewelry is made, the vibrant city is also an inspiration for the designer. The urban beauty of New York’s Brooklyn Heights was the revelation behind these contemporary yet timeless designs. Heights work well for day or black tie.
Family Rings, a fine jewelry tribute to traditional birthstone rings, can be customizable in any precious metal type or color (platinum or gold) as well as precious gemstone color combinations. The designer specializes in diamond and sapphire combinations for this collection.
Diamond and Colored Stone Jewelry
From the designer’s Hyde Park to Hudson Collections, Michael Bondanza is expanding his cornerstone bridal and colored stone fashion jewelry with even more attention to detail. Hand engraving, more subtle curves and even waves give these rings a soothing, contemporary look and feel. With its swirls and braided precious metals, a complement to these collections is the designer’s new Juliette jewelry.
Nothing is more Michael than his Deco Collection. This jewelry not only adroitly combines gold with platinum, but diamonds with sunny citrine and golden amber. What the Chrysler Building is to New York’s skyline is what a Deco piece is to a jewelry wardrobe, a must-have artful tribute to a definitive period of designing history.
Please join the staff at Scheherazade Jewelers in the Galleria on Thursday, October 19 and Friday October 20, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (both days) for this Architect of Design event (special pricing available).
